In June 2008, the company mwn GmbH was founded by friends Karl and Elias Nützi. Rented in a fully equipped workshop in Industrie Bännli 10, the foundation stone was laid over the next 4 years to continue growing. After only a short time, the two were even able to train their first apprentice.

Resources soon became scarce to meet the challenges of the industry. Therefore, in 2012 they decided to move into their own company building at Bännlistrasse 6, which today comprises a three-storey company building, a workshop and a basement with high storage capacity.
